Dark Mode for WhatsApp in Works A lot is already talked about the WhatsApp Dark Mode feature in the past. With the coming of Dark Mode on WhatsApp, users will be able to change the background of the app to black. This feature will work similar to the YouTube and Twitter Dark Mode. WhatsApp Dark Mode is mainly aimed at making it easy for the users to chat with friends and family inside a dark room. The users can disable or enable the Dark Mode feature as per their requirement. According to the latest media report coming from WABetaInfo, the WhatsApp Dark Mode is under development and is yet to be available to users. The WABetaInfo found the existence of the Dark Mode in the latest Android 2.19.82 beta update version and has also released a screenshot. The report notes that the users will be able to enable and disable the Dark Mode by heading to the Settings menu. Additionally, the report notes that “Dark Mode on Android won’t be OLED friendly, but it’s based on very dark grey colour." The report also suggests that the WhatsApp Dark Mode will be available everywhere be it in the notifications settings, data and storage settings, chats settings, and also in account settings. Forwarding Info and Frequently Forwarded Features Coming Soon In addition, WhatsApp for Android version 2.19.80 shows two more features that WhatsApp is working to bring to the users very soon. These features include – Forwarding Info and Frequently Forwarded. To recollect both these Forward features were spotted on iOS beta version. With the Forwarding Info, the users will get more details about a forwarded message, like they will get to know the number of times the message has been forwarded. The Frequently Forwarded, on the other hand, will basically work as a label. It will show if a message has forwarded more than four times.
