Vodafone Group, a leading telecommunications company in Europe and Africa is only offering “practical support” to Vodafone Idea, says Nick Read, chief executive officer at Vodafone Group. Vodafone Idea (Vi) has added more subscribers in the Gujarat circle in April 2022 than Airtel and Jio. Taking the data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report, Vi said that it added 42,671 new subscribers in Gujarat in April 2022.
