Tata Sky Revises EPG Numbers of 22 Hindi Regional Channels The DTH Operator on Tuesday revised EPG numbers of multiple Hindi regional channels such as ABP Ganga, News18 Rajasthan and News18 Bihar Jharkhand. ABP Ganga on Tuesday was moved from its old EPG of 1108 to its new EPG of 1127 on Tata Sky. Further, the operator revised News18 Rajasthan from its old EPG of 1131 to its new EPG of 1176 while News18 Bihar Jharkhand was revised to 1129 from its old EPG of 1105....

Tata Sky, India’s largest Direct-to-Home (DTH) operator on Monday removed 25 channels from its FTA complimentary pack including News X, News 7 Tamil and India News Rajasthan. The FTA complimentary pack is a custom curated pack of Tata Sky that is offered to all subscribers for no additional cost. Crucially, the FTA complimentary pack channels are not considered during Network Fee calculation. While the channels that were removed from the FTA complimentary pack on Monday will continue to remain on Tata Sky, the users will have to manually subscribe to these channels on a-la-carte basis....

Sony Reduces Rates on 24 Packs Tata Sky noted that certain broadcaster packs including Sony Happy India Sports pack are reduced by over Rs 5 while other packs including Sony Happy India Bangla Platinum are reduced by over Rs 4. The lowest cost of reduction is Rs 0.50 which are reflected on packs like Sony Happy India A and Sony Happy India B. “Effective from 31-3-2020, Sony has discontinued Sony MIX, Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD,” Tata Sky said in its note....
