Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 9i in India on September 15. As we reported recently, the Redmi 9i could be a slightly beefed-up variant of the Redmi 9A that was launched in India earlier this month for Rs 6,799. With the Redmi 9i, Xiaomi wants to offer 4GB of RAM to the budget users. The smartphone’s name is listed as ‘Redmi 9i 4GB’ hinting that it will come with 4GB RAM as a minimum....
Redmi just launched the Note 11 Pro 5G series for users in India. It is supposed to target budget and semi-mid-range smartphone users. Reliance Jio has just announced a new offer for the users to celebrate the approaching new year. The telco has added 29 days of additional service validity on its Rs 2545 plan. The Rs 2545 prepaid plan normally offers 336 days of validity, but under the new year offer, it will come with additional 29 days of validity for no additional cost. The total validity of the Rs 2545 plan will become 365 days instead of the normal 336 days....
Reliance Jio Maintains Average Data Consumption Per User Reliance Jio said that the average data consumption per user during the quarter ending March 2020 was at 11.3 GB per month as compared to 11.1 GB in the previous quarter. The Satcom Association of India (SIA-India) has written to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for allowing the satellite gateways to operate on the spectrum in the 27.5 GHz - 28.5 GHz band. The industry body said that such a move is crucial for developing and enhancing the national infrastructure to roll out new broadband services, which also includes 5G.
