Honor 9X Pro: What to Expect? The Honor 9X Pro, as the name itself suggests, will be a beefed up version of the Honor 9X. In 2018, Honor launched the Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max smartphones, but the Chinese company went with two different chipsets. The Honor 8X arrived with HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset, while the 8X Max featured the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC. Honor already confirmed the 9X would feature the newly launched HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset, but there’s no info on the Honor 9X Pro though. Talking about the pencil sketch render leaked today, it shows the Honor 9X Pro will house three cameras on the rear side placed vertically. The bottom of the phone houses 3.5mm headphone jack, and to the top left, there’s a pop-up selfie camera. There’s no physical fingerprint scanner like the Honor 9X, so we might get an in-display scanner like the ones present on OnePlus 7 Pro. The Honor 9X will be a mid-range device so it’ll be interesting to see the pricing of the handset. Last year’s Honor 8X Max featured a massive 5000mAh battery, but this time around, we may not see the bigger battery on the Honor 9X Pro owing to its name. The Pro moniker will likely refer to the triple rear cameras and a slightly bigger battery. Honor 9X India Launch Might Happen in September or October As mentioned, Honor has already scheduled the Honor 9X launch event in China for July 23. The Honor 8X reached India in October 2018, so we might see the Honor 9X making into the sub-continent during September or October. The Honor 9X Pro may not make its way into the Indian market, but going the rumours, the Honor 9X seems to be an interesting device in the crowded mid-range segment.
