BSNL Discontinued STVs List and Details In total, BSNL has removed five STVs from its portfolio, and the first in this list is the Rs 333 STV which used to offer unlimited on-network voice calls with 3GB data per day and an after-FUP speed of 80 Kbps. This plan also used to bundle EROS Now subscription and came with 45 days validity. Further on, the next plan to be withdrawn by BSNL is the Rs 339 STV which had a 26 days validity and bundled free STD calls to other networks up to 30 minutes per day and 3GB daily data FUP. This plan had 26 days of validity. BSNL has also removed the Rs 379 STV which was previously offering 4GB data per day, on-network unlimited calls and 30 minutes per day calling to other networks with 30 days validity. The last two plans to be withdrawn from BSNL’s STV portfolio are STV 392 and STV 444. The Rs 392 STV by BSNL used to offer unlimited on-network calls with 3GB data per day, EROS Now subscription and BSNL gaming offer for 56 days. Similarly, the Rs 444 STV used to offer 4GB data per day, on-network unlimited calls and EROS Now subscription for 60 days. On the same lines, the STV 378 and STV 373 which used to bundle PK Online TV and Digivive TV services respectively have also been withdrawn. Likely Reason for BSNL’s Withdrawl of STVs It is worth noting that the likely reason why BSNL has put an end to these plans is that they were shipping on-network calling benefits. Now although the STVs were offering unlimited calling and impressive data benefits, these days, only 30 minutes of calling to other network doesn’t make sense especially when other providers are shipping these benefits in all their plans. As such, it is possible that BSNL has discontinued these plans due to abysmal customer demand.
